My Peeps

Gotta admit. I was pretty skeptical of this plan to X-C ski on the ice. Did not think there would be enough snow. But there was - just barely.

Met in Strong - skied on the ice for an hour. Headed home and then I went for a great road run in Farmington. I have not run without Dixie in a long time. Today I ran without her because she spent a lot of energy on the ice. Running without her was awesome! I felt so free. When I wanted to pump my arms to propel up the hill, I was able to without the hindrance of the leash in hand and her energy going every which way. It was a killer run. Heard the clock toll 4pm when I was about 15 minutes from home. What a good day.

I swear - those two never stop giggling when they are together.
