Luna Dog Turns Thirteen

She did. Yesterday. Her true birthday. August 1. We went for an afternoon hike up Speckled. But she was dragging and taking her time, so I decided since it was her birthday, we would not maul the trail up there and would not go to the summit. The clouds were piling up too and thunder was rumbling, so we turned around after reaching a small view. Love her so much. She is doing great still -- went up White Cap with mum and I the other day -- did just fine.
