A hike in Temple to end the week on Friday. Sure was pretty in the woods. Dogs loved it, and I loved it. Alone in the woods with my dogs, my thoughts, the breeze and the sunset - that's the way I like to end my weeks.

And today, Sunday, we hiked Speckled and worked around the house: weeding, planting, putting the snowblower away for the season and getting the lawnmowers out for the season. A good day spent outside. This is a tree in my backyard - elaborate bud.
