Bachelorette Partay

A fun weekend to be sure. My best girl Alison planned a good one -- got an amazing camp from a friend up on Hancock Pond. Al and I headed up there on Friday night and spent some good quality time together. Next morning, a 15 mile mountain bike ride with her in Carrabassett Valley -- then over the Carriage Road to Flagstaff Lake to meet Stacey, Heather, my mom and my sister for brunch right on the beach. Good food. Hiking by 12:30 -- hiked Avery Peak in the Bigelows. Not an easy hike for people who are new to hiking, but a breeze for us old seasoned types. Summit and then down to the camp for awesome food, drinks and conversation. Laura, Sara and Cheri were there (we were late) -- we ate and drank and visited. It was a good night.

And now we are less than 2 weeks away and wow...time just does not stop. Planning our get-away and am very excited for what I have found North of Greenville. Very much looking forward to making NO decisions and enjoying Jim and Luna's company solely. And until then, I am hanging on by a thread, hoping I did not forget anything "big" and that all will go well and all will have a good time. Can't wait to have the family together -- and for the after reception bonfire at my parents house on the river. And really, can't wait to be married. Ordered the bands today. Is this for real? Waited a long time -- still think Jim is a little crazy to pick me -- guess he needs to be a little crazy.

Here's to keeping it crazy and together.
