Late Fall Fitness with the Outing Club - last event - a run up Sugarloaf in Dixfield
30 minute run...
Elevation gain of about 1200 feet...
Old Speck from the Summit of Sugarloaf.
This was a good year for Late Fall Fitness -- my second year offering it. I had several kids very consistent. We did three activities a week for three weeks - played soccer, did speed work, strength training, trail running, mountain biking and mountain running. Good stuff. We know we made better time up to Sugarloaf than last year. Progress!
Kitty in a basket - Made in Maine
Saturday morning light on my aloe -- spent a lovely Saturday home. Rode my bike on the gauge for the dogs - cleaned around here, read some - it was nice.
Hiked 4000+ footer Mt. Abraham today with Al, Stacey and EmJay -- helluva hike.
Looking Northwest from Abraham Trail.
The summit of Abraham, looking Eastish.
Mt. Blue and Mt. Blue Pond catching the light.
Timed Photo -- brilliant way to spend a Sunday. Great workout, several gnarly river crossings. (Any idea how cold the Carrabassett River is these days? After fording the river in sneakers, I sure do - frickin' freezing!)
November - in all its monochromatic wonder - is where it is at. God, I love November.
