Taken ages ago -- weeks really -- maybe months? Em and I ran up Parker Ridge after an all-district workshop day held in the cafeteria of Mountain Valley High School. (Man, was that workshop uninspired!) It was so good to be up there. This is my new dog. Phoenix. On his first hike. He is a good boy (we got him on the 29th of September).
Things are psycho busy. I want to have time to write - especially about the recent funeral I attended - but instead I am writing letters of recommendation up the wahoo and conferencing with kids about their college essays for HOURS. My time is not my own. This too shall pass. I cannot WAIT until all these seniors are applied and simply waiting for responses. But for now...moments like these to think about sure do help.
