Goose Eye

 EmJay just coming above treeline.

Gotta love Goose Eye.  It's a butt kicker.  Also gotta love pals who get up early early to hike.  We were on trail by 7:30am and were on the summit by 10:45 or so.  Good stuff.  Did not have to speak to a soul, although we did see a couple of hikers on a peak across the way.  It was gorgeous up there.

So many toads on this hike - this guy was the biggest we encountered.

Where we lunched - right on the water.  Pretty sweet morning/early afternoon.  From there I headed to the farm to help with haying.  Oh summertime, I love it.  Pick my brother up in Boston Saturday night - looking forward to lots of time outside with him and family.
