Weekend

Went to The Loaf to rip with EmJay, but when we hit the parking lot and saw a perpetual sand storm, I new the winds were higher than high.  65 mph = hardly any lifts.  And look how bare the old girl is.  So we bailed on that plan and went for a long walk in the woods by the Carrabassett River while I dreamt of mountain biking.  Good times.

Sunday was Maine Maple Sunday.  Here is my little niece - making ice cream.  She spelled me so I could go grab my camera.  Made many batches - and ate some too.  It was a good day.  Lots of community members - lots of catching up, good conversation and warm vibes.  Spent Saturday getting ready - bottling syrup and working with the family.  Loved it.

The horse team from Andover - they pull the peeps into the sugar shack.  This is where they get ready - my horse was beside herself with them so close.  It's a really fun atmosphere around the farm on these days.

COUSINS!! And NEPHEWS!  All of 'em are.

More nephew cuteness.

Don't I LOVE those rock walls in the distance - that's where the horses hang.

Little Man taking a serious armful of maple cotton candy back to his house.

Good times - but the weekend FLEW!
