These Mondays are a little different than the Mondays of the work week, eh?
Dix was a WILD woman on the Sandy this morning. She was running and jumping and splashing and generally loving her life. I buy her a harness this week up in Greenville -- and start training her for Ski Jouring -- ho ho ho -- THAT should be interesting. Had her leashed while I was on my mountain bike in Mt. Blue SP yesterday, and she did pretty well, but whoa, it is scary when she hears a chipmunk or spies a bird flying too close to her. Imagine when I am tethered to her!! She is a wild woman to say the least.
Summahtime!!! Wahooo! Images from our morning walk (the dogs and I). This afternoon I am heading to meet Al -- then we are off to chill with Stacey M before the all women mountain bike ride Al organizes out of Carrabassett Valley. It will be a GOOD evening to be in the Valley -- we ride from 5:30 - 7:30. Have not seen Stace since our last epic adventure (the one where we skied and snowshoed in Weld this early winter) -- it has been too long. Looking forward to it -- gotta get dinner all prepared so my working man can come home to a decent meal and I can too when I get back to Farmtown later this evening. I LOVE Summer -- and I LOVE it in Maine.
